Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette, a Canadian born June 1 1974 in Ottawa. Alanis' Greek is a female form of the surname her father's name. She has two siblings: Chad (Alanis Twin) as well as Wade. She first started playing guitar and piano when she turned 21. Alanis released a single in 1986, titled Fate Stay With Me (b-side : Find The Right Man). Then, in Canada, Alanis recorded two dance-pop records: Alanis (in the year 1991) and the album Now Is The Time in 1992. She was 18 when she moved to Toronto and worked with several singers and musicians, but the collaborations didn't work. Her first love came to her in 1994. Glen Ballard. He had collaborated with other musicians such as Aretha, Michael Jackson, and Barbra. She moved to LA when she was 19. The Madonna's Maverick Records released the song "Jagged Little Pill", on June 13th on the 13th of June, 1995. Alanis's songs were autobiographical. JLP is the third most popular album in the history of music and has been sold thirty million times across the globe. It was a time of intense emotionally tense time (she might have considered not releasing another record) and took a tour in India.
